Event Schedule:

All Spellbound Festival participants are asked to visit at the Regina A. Quick Center Atrium. The atrium will be the location for check in services AND for conceirge and information services.

Items found at Regina A. Quick Center Atrium:

    • Overnight and Pay Pass Check in (Keys and Wristbands)
    • Feast Only guests (Dinner passes)
    • Horcrux Hunt-1st clue available
    • Event maps
    • Sign-up lists for Round Tables
    • Sign-up sheets for Spellbound magic classes

FRIDAY

Event Check in and Concierge are available at the Regina A. Quick Center Atrium on Friday, Aug 5 from 1 pm-5pm

1:00 pm-7:00 pm Check-in for registered guests

Overnight Guests: Special Wristbands and keys will be provided to registered guests at check in.  Guests may check in between 1 pm and 5 pm.  Late arrivals are asked to contact the Office of Events and Conferences to make arrangements for key/wristband pickups.  Call: 716-375-7808

Day Festival Day Pass Guests:  Special Wristbands will be provided to registered day pass guests at check in.  Guest may check in between 1 pm and 5 pm.  Late arrivals are asked to contact the Office of Events and Conference to make arrangements key/wristband pickups.  Call: 716-375-7808

Friday Night Feast Only Guests: Guests registered to attend the Friday night feast will be provided a dinner pass

1:00 pm-8:00 pm Diagon Alley open (Lawn area in font of Devereux Hall)

2:00 pm-4:30 pm Crafts Room open: Spellbound Harry Potter themed crafts

    • Make a Wand-Create your very own wand with our craft supplies
    • Spell Scroll: Learn/Practice your calligraphy & copy a spell on parchment paper
    • Rock a Quote: Create a keepsake rock with your favorite HP quote on it
    • Create & Store a Pensive Memory: Save a memory for the Future in one of our corked memory holders then store it on our Pensive bottle rack.
    • Tye dye a clothing item to free your favorite house elf –or keep it for yourself! (Please bring an item you would like to tye dye. We will provide a dying station)

There will also be an opportunity to create a house badge to wear during the festival to show pride in your house and gain points for your house.

6:00 pm-7:30 pm Sorting Feast Celebration at the Hickey Dining Hall (Hickey Dining Hall-Wristband band or Dinner Pass required)

7:45 pm -8:30 pm Live Action Wizards Chess (Green Space behind Friedsam Memorial Library; adjacent to Plassman Hall steps)

8:30 pm-10:30 pm Live Entertainment with Marshmellow Overcoat (Plassman Hall Steps)

Mr. Filch will not be around to keep you out of a visit with the usually restricted Rare Book Collection in the Library. Stop by to see a huge handwritten book, on animal skin pages, from the 1300’s, and what books printed in the 1600’s look like. Come by the Library anytime within the hour & follow the signs leading from the right of the main desk.
